So a buddy of mine launched a website that is dedicated to going through the Sunday mass readings. It is a great website and is called "Sundays on Fire." You can check it out right HERE! or you can simply type in www.sundaysonfire.com
Sunday’s on Fire was born out of an inspiration to help Catholics “enter into dialogue” with Jesus through the prayerful reflection of the Sacred Scriptures. From Young families with children to busy on the move Catholics, “Sunday’s on Fire” hopes to encourage a kind of modern day Lectio Divina where Catholics can listen, read and re-read the word of God throughout their weekly prayer life. From this practice we hope to foster a greater love and devotion for our savior Jesus Christ, the word of God, and to enhance each person’s quality of prayer at the Sunday Liturgy.
There are three main components to each podcast.
One; The reading of the Word of God for the upcoming Sunday Liturgy.
Two; a short reflection (not a homily!) by myself or another faithful Catholic Theologian who is open to the Holy Spirit prayerfully seeks a word of reflection to share.
Three; A prayerful song. Sung and sometimes written by the CATHOLIC music artist who live and write their music open to all the gifts the Holy Spirit desires to inspire in them.
This would totally build off what we already do on Thursday during Bible Study... SO TAKE TIME & CHECK IT OUT!
